James Nealey

James Nealey is the CEO of Stronghold Funds, where he leads the company's mission of helping businesses receive dispersed funds efficiently while maintaining the documentation and oversight necessary for audits, compliance, and project accountability. With a strong background in accounting, financial services, operations management, and program leadership, James brings a practical and client-focused approach to every partnership. His experience overseeing contracts, budgets, compliance standards, and cross-functional teams shapes Stronghold Funds into a company centered on transparency, reliability, and operational efficiency.

James earned both his MBA and Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Husson University before going on to hold leadership positions across financial and community services, housing and energy assistance programs, and nonprofit operations. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for hands-on leadership, strategic problem-solving, and building strong relationships with clients, agencies, and community stakeholders.

Outside of work, James is known for his outgoing personality and passion for connecting with people. He enjoys spending time hiking and exploring the outdoors with his wife, daughter, and dogs, and values the importance of building both strong professional partnerships and meaningful personal connections.

Paul Rand

Paul Rand

Paul Rand is the COO of Stronghold Funds and oversees the company's daily operations and technological infrastructure. He ensures ethical operations and maintains a secure digital ecosystem designed to protect client assets while providing peace of mind. With a background in employee and client management, as well as systems administration, Paul maintains trustworthy processes for client accounts.

Paul has held leadership positions in the social media and construction industries as well as in nonprofit volunteer organizations. His experience in client and employee management is marked by his devotion to collaboration, empowerment, and leadership. Throughout his career, he became known for his critical and analytical approaches to troubleshooting. Paul's dedicated methodology shines through in his leadership and detailed research capabilities.

When not in the office, Paul enjoys model rocketry, aviation, and video production. He can often be found visiting museums or attending trivia nights with his spouse. He is also a member of the Bangor Knights of Columbus, where he has served in multiple roles as Council Technology Director, State Technology Director, District Warden, and Field Agent. These roles, as well as his continued volunteerism within the organization, allow him to serve the Greater Bangor community and aid in its betterment.
